Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Atom and Eve (In Process)

Hello from the snowy white north! We got about 30” here the past three days and I realized just exactly why I love winter in NW Michigan—The more snow, the more people at the microbrewery!

My fella and two of our kiddos are at a hockey tourney in Saginaw this weekend. So, I decided that the remaining two and I we would head to The Filling Station, a former antique train stop here in Traverse City, for dinner last night in the blizzard. The place was packed and the flatbread pizza, delicious! I didn’t partake in libations as it was already a difficult drive without any bubbles, but the kids and I did get in two games of Uno before our food arrived. I did not win. Not even a little.

Anyhow, today I made clam chowder and listened to Coldplay radio while watching the snow fall, making snow tunnels with our little guy after slinging some paint!

This is my new work entitled, Atom and Eve. It’s been a while since I did a truly abstract piece and am feeling good about this one so far….

This piece is a 24x24 acrylic on canvas. Feel free to inquire. The first photo is about two hours in.

And this is where I stopped two hours later…
