Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

My muse (my puppy) who as of today, is 33 pounds at 13 weeks.  Oh geez.  Below are in-process photos that I took over five hours today...

About 5:30pm tonight, I decided to go a different direction.  I love using my fingers and decided to apply some chunky layers here and cooler colors.  And I realized that my current painting was not vibrant enough.  I like a much more lively palette.

I really beefed up with clouds and will add more color to them tomorrow.  They needed to be more opaque than they were yesterday.  The problem I began to have today was that my paint was heavy in some areas and sheer in other areas and that's just not uniform.  So, I added more layers today and texture, along with changing the hues in the sky.  I may add some of the warmth back tomorrow.

I can't help that I dearly love teal.  And I wanted some happy today after waking up and reading the news this morning.  I feel very blessed to have had a diversion today that is both my work and my play, and for the safety of all those whom I love.

Prayers and blessings to those who are hurting and mourning after last nights events in LV.
